The Rogers Activity Center is home to the Rogers Youth Hockey Association and the Rogers Royals boys and girls High School Hockey Teams. The park is the home of the Guilderland Baseball (Cal Ripken, Babe Ruth and Travel) and Guilderland Girls Softball League (Rec and Travel), which serve the communities of Guilderland, Altamont and Voorheesville. The park is named in honor of Roger Keenholts, a former historian for the Town of Guilderland and Village of Altamont. Roger Keenholts Park, with entrances on Hurst Road and French’s Hollow Road in Guilderland Center, was added to the Town's park system in 1993 as the need for additional ballfields grew. The park was named for Chuck Rogers (1909-1980), who worked for the Parks and Recreation Department for 41 years.
